L'Âne Brasseur is the story of a life project before being a brewery. Founded in 2011 by Raphaël Landreau and Solène Barreau, these two enthusiasts brew over a wood fire according to their ecological, artisanal and independent beliefs. Here, there are no compromises: low-tech production, organic sourcing (as much as possible), and above all, a genuine passion for brewing as a way of life.

Far from industrial standards, L'Âne Brasseur's “Sour” beers push the limits of taste. Inspired by Belgian traditions (Geuze, Rouge des Flandres...) but reinvented in their own way, they come from mixed fermentations, patient blends and atypical yeasts. The result: acidic, complex, lively and radically unusual beers.

At L'Âne Brasseur, the deposit is much more than a logistical choice, it is a profound conviction: reusing is better than breaking to redesign. From the very first brews, the brewery has bet on the reuse of bottles, despite the costs and constraints. The Edard mechanical closures is a natural part of this approach. Solid, reusable and reliable, it supports the philosophy of the house by allowing bottles to live several lives.
